Islanders with lots of Heart
Our PIA has been around well over FIFTEEN years and
we still pretty much like each other anyway. We stay in touch! Email is good, the phone gets the word out,
and good ole reliable gossip. We got - Air Force retirees,
misplaced Hawaiians, college graduates, lucky (or not so lucky)
islanders that settled here and plan on staying around, that's what we're made of.

"May Day is Lei Day" thing), and as many times as possible during the Summer (Picnics at the park, weddings,
etc, etc).
The next gathering will be a "potluck" picnic on Saturday, October 31st -- HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEN!!!!!
at North Spokane Dance Center (East on Francis/ Left on Freya/ Across from URM).
Come join us around 1pm, early bird catches the worm.

Christmas Music that we all sang
at the Xmas potluck on Sunday (7-Dec-2003). Enjoy! Joyeux Noel!
Our club is always happy to include students from the local area colleges,
Gonzaga, Whitworth, Spokane Community/Spokane Falls, Eastern. Heck! We'll welcome students from anywhere.
Islander or not, if you'd like to join us, please feel free to do so. We start working on our annual May Day
program around February and we'd like nothing better than to include some fresh talent.
Besides it will give you an opportunity to get to know our ohana.
Do you play Hawaiian Music? Well Kenny and I play music all the
time and sometimes around town for parties and stuff. Our friends Chan,
Grethia, and Eric help make up a group we call "Lokomaika'i" and have traveled
around the area to entertain Island Style for large or
small audiences (recently as far away as Ritzville). And thanks to LeAnne, Rachel, Kanakolu, Jody,
and Grethia we've even been able to provide some Hula for our fortunate clients.
Anyhow, if you play Guitar, Ukulele, Bass, or sing Hawaiian/Hawaiian
Styled music give me one
Email Eh! Brah! anytime.
Maybe we can get together, our normal island-jam day is Wednesday at around 6:30pm,
unless something else is up like Volleyball or Basketball games at Gonzaga. Check us out!
