A closer look

Background information

I was born in Frankfurt, Germany on March 18, 1981 to Michael and Inge Holcomb. I was the youngest of five children with a seperation of seven years between the five of us. I have lived on two continents, in two countries, visited all of Europe and North America, and have logged over 100,000 miles in vacation travel distance alone. I hope to backpack across europe with two of my friends Justin and Mike in one of the upcoming summers.

I ended up at Gonzaga University on a case of pure luck on GU's part. I went to take the SAT's for the second time and my father did not ask me who I wanted the results sent to. He decided to send them to Harvard, Standford, Princeton, and Gonzaga. After I scored a 1300 on the SAT, GU sent me some information, a video, and a request for me to visit. I agreed. After I came to Gonzaga I decided it was the school for me and only applied to GU. I never regret making the decision to come here. I have met so many new people and gotten involved in many programs. I am currently the goalie for the Gonzaga Men's Lacrosse Team. I am also involved in Gonzaga University Theatre Sports (G.U.T.S.) Please visit them at their website.

Other facets of my life include music. I play the saxophone for Gonzaga University in the Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Band. I am also studying music theory under Father Gary Uhlentkott. Other interests include computers, fish, house design, and being as friendly as possible.

Two things that are the most important things to me in the world are my family and friends. To find out more just click the links.
