Hopkins Rave

I'm not sure who exactly came up with the idea for a front
porch rave at the honors house. Dingel and I had been discussing
things of that nature off and on for awhile, and yesterday we
finally decided to do it. So around 7:30, D.Squared arrived with
turntables and records, ready to jam. After a quick set up job
with the help of yours truly, we had ourselves a decent venue,
with visuals and all.
At first it was a modest party, with only the truly devoted
dancing around. But after word of mouth spread, the fans came
from far and wide to hear the stylings of D.Squared. Sarah broke
out the glowsticks, and the dance party quickly developed into
a rave. Everyone was jumping around to the music, screaming for
more D.Squared. The dance floor got so full, people were forced
to dance on the roof. The huge beats being thrown down could
be heard all the way out to the aluminum Jesus, and as far away
as Lincoln and the theater.
D.Squared was at the decks for over 3 hours, never letting
up. He even came down from the booth to mix it up with his adoring
public and even show off his crazy poi skills. This was a night
that will not be forgotten. Remember: Jesus Raves.
I finally got around to combining all the video clips
I took. Look below for a rather cool video.
A Kick-ass Movie
Showing All the Fun
Oh, and sorry in advance, but there aren't any comments
for these pictures. I know my usual wit will be missed, but there
are just too many pictures that are basically the same for me
to come up with something new to say every time. Just think funny
thoughts as you look at the photos.
