1. Parts: The Clonus Horror 2/10
Decent cloning plot but terrible acting.
2. This Island Earth 5/10
A classic creature feature, with a hero who does nothing and
surprisingly decent effects.
3. Attack of the Giant Leeches 1/10
Bad. Just bad.
4. Invasion of the Bee Girls 3/10
More naked people than the name would suggest. An odd cross between
horror and a 70's skin flick.
5. Buffalo Soldiers 8/10
A dark comedy set during the Cold War. It's lots of fun. Don't
know why it didn't make it to theaters, or if it did, it wasn't
there for long.
6. Narc 8/10
Of the "gritty cop thriller" genre, It has a good
story with some great acting.
7. Harold & Kumar go to White Castle 7/10
Funnier than most comedies of it's ilk.
8. Diabolik 5/10
Based on the Italian comic, this is one of few "evil
hero" movies. Diabolik kills all sorts of folks, some good,
some bad. Pretty good effects and decent acting for a foreign
B-movie.
9. Dracula II: Ascension 4/10
Sequel to Dracula 2000, there's lots of stupid people doing
stupid things. And don't forget evil wheelchair guy. I've noticed
an increase of evil wheelchair guys in movies as of late.
10. Omega Game 7/10
Adrian Paul of Highlander: The Series fame gets to act again.
Actually, a decent thriller with some thought behind it. If you're
a fan of riddles or philosophy, check this out for sure.
11. San Francisco International 2/10
Really bad TV movie. Believe me, airports are boring, and
this does nothing to disprove that.
12. Ring of Terror 1/10
A ring shows up twice, and there is absolutely no terror.
Just old people pretending to be med students and really bad
acting.
13. Secret Window 7/10
Great acting and some interesting cinematography makes an
average movie good. Really, you can't go too wrong with Johnny
Depp and John Turturro.
14. Absence of the Good 5/10
Decently suspenseful, but the acting is rather bad. Stupid
plot twists don't help, however.
15. How to Make a Monster 4/10
A bad movie that gets a better rating than it deserves because
I have a soft spot for huge killer monsters and video game programming,
both prominently featured in this flick. There's actually some
sort of allegory about business in there too. But mainly killer
monsters and video game programming.
