On my laptop I got McAfee for free when I purchased the system, but 3 months later my McAfee ran out so I can only download the .dat files free but not any engine improvements. I was considering installing Trend on my laptop but I just came across a pretty good deal.

If you haven't signed up to use AllAdvantage and make money while you are online now and If you need an anti-virus software program this is a great deal. Basically when you decide you want to have AllAdvantage running and make money you turn it on. It will have a small bar across the bottom of your screen which downloads advertisements. I ignore them and do whatever

work or web surfing and make money. It max's out at 25 hours a month. So once I have the hours in I don't use it anymore. So far this month I've slacked off and only done about 3 hours and 17 minutes and made $1.64 so will have to keep it on this week at work to finish off my hours and I make about $15 a month. My first check of $31 is in the mail.

ANYWAY for AllAdvantage members McAfee will be provided to you for .50cents a month if you choose to sign up. AND AllAdvantage will deduct it from their account and pay the fee. So McAfee is actually free to you, assuming you do an hour of browsing on the web with the AllAdvantage bar active a month. The software can be purchased for $29.95 off McAfee site but at only $6 a year through AllAdvantage it is a much better deal.
