| Well
it's been awhile since I played quake. My new house can only get
28.8 connection so far, since US West wants to use shitty
switches. And to top that off they even have a fiber optic line
going past my house and won't let me get DSL yet. It sucks that
phone companies are allowed to monopolize local service.
Well enough of that. I'd like to welcome RunninBare.HOPw the 47th member of Clan HOPw. He lost to me 10 to 4. But played a heck of a game. I started off at -2, woohoo :) I guess it takes getting used to that 300 ping again! Since I can only connect now at 28.8. It was a fun game. I always like a challenge and he played a challenging game! |

has posted some pictures he took in Quake3 if your interested take a
look at his page.
I just created an account at http://www.teamplay.net and then created a Quake team HOPw. Please go create your own accounts and join Clan HOPw. In January I will work on creating a Quake3 team. However I would like to wait on this one until Dforce.HOPw lets me know how many active Quake 3 members there will be. Also we need to work on play the game as a team and controlling areas and looking out for our members during the game. I don't believe enough HOPw members actually play Quake 2 and even if they do they probably don't keep in contact with each other so won't create a Quake 2 team unless people ask for it. |

about the lack of updates. Been busy buying a new house, moving
in, and of course work and school have been the quake killer for
me. Hope you all are having fun playing. I hear Quake3 is
now out.
We have servers up with all versions except Q2 running. Check with Ice and DForce on servers. Remember if your going to organize a clan fight. I will gladly email your info to other HOPw's. The person who organizes it is in charge. So please respect their decisions. They have the call to start whoever on whatever level. Have Fun and treat people right. O and time for that Christmas music :) |
