| Finally a guy named
BuggyCat discovered a bug in Netscape4 that crashes browsers. I have been doing a
bit of research on why my news page has been crashing in Netscape the last few months and
figured it had something to do with the new Heading I put in and what was in it. It
seems that since I used the code style="border.." inside a table is what has
been crashing Netscape user's on their first visit to my page. Basically you have to
come to my news page twice the second time it shouldn't crash. I'll see if I can
take out this code for now. Not sure if I will but I'll look into it. The html codes below is what crashes Netscape4:
For you ICQ beta testers the newest ICQ99a is build 1620 released a few days ago. Here is a link to the FAQ for ICQ99a Internet Explorer users go get an updated patch for the IE untrusted script which has been re-fixed from it's initial release serveral months ago. A link is on my updates page. It's been awhile since I last saw this link but Siren's picpage is still up at planetquake. I used to have it linked in my quake links page but seems only Flesh.HOPw and I posted any info and even we didn't post pic's. O well HOPw pics are on the HOPwcon page and each person's page on our roster page if they have been submitted. Nephilim.HOPw sends word that he is running a Quake2 server. It is running Weapons factory a Quake2 CTF Mod. | Gamespy 2.05 has been released for both registered and
unregistered users. GET IT WHILE you can!!!!! I believe ZDnet made a mistake and opened up ICQ's new version 99a to the public. This is only an alpha release, meaning it is in beta testing and people are reporting bugs found in the program.
If you use Internet Explorer for your web browser set your browser security to at least "medium". There is a new HTML.internal virus that could infect your computer. You won't be able to pick it up with a setting of "medium". Netscape users aren't affected. |

| Happy Birthday USMC! Zork is off for 2months!!! Lots of quakin for him now. ICQ 99 alpha is the best thing since apple pie! Excellent improvements. You can place all your icq contacts in groups excellent way too keep track of who plays quake vs quakeworld or putting all your clan in one group. |
