We have a Quake match vs Clan ESM on Sunday August 2nd at 9pm Central time. This will be e4m3 and dm3 4 on 4 matches. We will meet at 146.6.118.28:26666. The match is only HPB. I'm not sure what the cut off ping will be but will appreciate any 100-200 pingers to show up and practice. |

| Round 2
CrazNDhead.HOPw played U4.Krave and lost 38 to -4 on DM4. :( That is two U4 Clan members
taking out two HOPw's in round 3, bummer. Dirt.CJ won his round 1 One on One vs Majik 34 frags to -4 on DM2. Dirt also won round 2 on DM2 11 to 5 vs Impulse 9.HIJINKS! Bummer Dirt lost in Round 3 to Apocalypse 32 to 3 on DM4. But he advances to Round 4 elimination bracket to play DCSteve and lost 8 to -3 on DM2. |

| BOOHOO...... Crater
just lost to U4.Batch 31 to 4 in round 2 on DM4. WOOHOO AGAIN! Round 1 One on One both Crater.HOPw and CrazNDhead.HOPw have advanced in thier first 1on1 heat. Craz beat Blitz 20 to 9 on DM6. Here is their observer demo (broken link). And Crater beat Sinister 24 to 3 on DM6. Quakecon 98 coverage!!! CrazNDhead.HOPw has advanced past the ffa round with a third place finish in Heat 2 with 66 frags, his percentages were 56.4% and 19.3%(don't know what they mean though, hehe). You will need this map to view all Quakecon demos. Craz had the lead at 7 frags and again at 21, but after that it was all Thorn for the rest of the game. Crazz plays Blitz in the second heat of the round 1 in the One on One. Woohoo Crater.HOPw has made it to the next round! He WON his first round heat 10 with 75 frags! Crater will play Sinister in the second heat of round 1 One on One. It looks like Ledfoot.HOPw didn't advance past round one, but I'm sure he had and is having a good time! Topaz.HOPw got 6th in round 1 Heat 8 with 30 frags! His heat included Dirt.CJ who also advanced with 4th place and 44 frags, they both got Kornelia in their heat. I don't see Topaz's name in the 64 man round two 1on1 list. Guess only the top four in the ffa advanced. | Excellent matches
with Clan Qgirlz!! I wish all could go like this. Never a complaint from either
side. Good competitive matches, very fun for all. First level was DM3 we moved from our server to a netural server since our local Fluffbunnie.HOPw was a Rabid Rabbit with 18 ping. So we went to a server that popped him up to 70 to 80 ping. Clan HOPw 36 to Clan Qgirlz 23. Fluffbunni.HOPw 27 frags (76 ping), Killjoy.HOPw 7 frags (203 ping) and Knowfear.HOPw 2 frags (183 ping). Medusa.QGirlz 10 frags (125 ping), Artemis.QGirlz 7 frags (122 ping) and Tigerlilly.QGirlz 6 frags (180 ping). Wow the second level was our level E4M3 and was a tie!!!!! 40 to 40! Talk about the fear man..... KnowFear.HOPw probably played his greatest game ever!!! AND saved the day for the HOPw's! without him we would have lost our lead and the games. WAY to go Fear! Clan HOPw 40 to Clan QGirlz 40. KnowFear.HOPw 25 frags (138 ping), Wormburner.HOPw 12 frags (263 ping) and Killjoy.HOPw 3 frags (171 ping). Medusa.QGirlz 14 frags (106 ping), Tigerlilly.QGirlz 13 frags (157 ping) and Artemis.QGirlz 13 frags (101 ping). We decided to go to QGirlz server since Artemis and Knowfear were having lag problems at the neutral server. It worked out well for all. Good game all! |

| Quake match tonight
at 11pm Central time. Clan HOPw vs Clan Qgirlz at 146.6.118.28:26666 They will
probably have some lpb's so hopefully Fluffbunnie will show up to help us out.
Level's will be e4m3 and dm3. We will also be playin a HPB Quake match on Saturday or Sunday vs Tigerlilly's other clan, Clan ESM. |

| Happy Birthday to my
good friend Tammy! We had a pretty good long in-depth e4m3 training session last night with QW HOPw's Knowfear, Hatriq, Badjim and Flesh. I think we all learned some nice tips and how to work togeather. Even have a few new things that would be good to go over with the Quake HOPw's too. Thursday night there is a Quake match with Clan Qgirlz. It looks like it probably be late, like 10 or 11 pm central time. Time isn't yet determined. But we do need LPB's to show up. I have a confirmation that Fluffbunnie will be there, possibly Muad'Dib, I will be there and possibly Killjoy. Any HOPw's are welecom to come and watch and we will put in a few to play. But most likely the LPB's will stay in both levels. I expect at least 2 LPBs to be playing for Clan Qgirlz and possibly three. |

| I'd like to wish
Jade.SW a quick recovery. Her ex-boyfriend rammed her car with his truck last night
and she is in the hospitol. He is in jail where he should stay for along time, but
unfortunatly that probably won't be the case. She was hurt pretty seriously, "she
has 4 cracked ribs, cracked jaw, they have a iv in her and her face is so swollen she
can't breathe on her own yet so they have a tube in her mouth and nose. this is kristins friend angel and i will be the one
answering her messages untill she gets home. An update on how she is she woke up 3 times
and then went back again. Her face has gone down some, they had to remove glass from her
head, she has a fractured jaw, 4 cracked ribs and right now she is in a mild coma. please
pray for her and keep her in your thoughts. oh as far as
her getting home we dont know when for sure. she also had some blood and fluid in her
lungs from hitting the steering wheel but they have cleared that up so thats not a threat
anymore. she acknowledge the fact that she knew who u all were. she was kind of spaced the
first couple of times. her mom called to tell me that she was and had been awake for 15
minutes and nemesis or plague told me to tell her hi and she raised couple of fingers and
kinda smiled. she isnt off the breathing machine yet but the swelling is going down in her

| We had a Clan Match
today against Clan CWO -ClockWorkOrange. We almost didn't field a team for the first
time since Feb 97. Clan CWO was a classy clan and very patient. Not one
complaint even when the match didn't get started for 40minutes past the start time.
Thanks alot Clan CWO! We played the first level DM3 at their server. We were way outmatched on ping and I new this was a loss before it began. I was surprised to see me in the lead at one point with 10 frags. Too bad that didn't last hehe. I thought the server was really good. I only saw the phone jack once. But I guess the other three HOPw's had some problems. So they wanted to play the second level at the HOPw server where I usually am locked up half the game. I was really surprised we didn't do better at E4M3 pings were alot closer and normally we do better. O well. It was a good night and I think everyone enjoyed it. DM3 Clan CWO 107 to Clan HOPw 26. CWO.Nemesis 42 frags (128 ping), CWO.Xtort 25 frags (97 ping), CWO.Toecutter 21 frags (241 ping), CWO.Ultima 19 frags (297 ping). | Quakeworld match
tomorrow night. BadJim13 should be sending you a time and place, so keep an eye out
for an email/icq message if you want to play vs Clan CWO. Match is supposedly at this

BadJim13.HOPw!!! Not alot going on lately. We never did have a quakeworld scrimmage with Clan AC last weekend but had a couple of fun throw togeather team fights with a bunch of HOPw's! Topaz, Crater, Madaxe, BadJim, Bear, Hatriq, Knowfear and I all showed up for the fight. Hope I didn't forget anyone. |

North Dakota, my wife's 10 year reunion, but I work the next 6 days straight with 3 16
hour days. So won't be online much. We got a quakeworld challenge from Clan ClockWorkOrange. I sent the information to BadJim13 to have him set up a match and see if enough HOPw's can play. Talk to you all soon. |
