Clan HOPw played Clan DNA and lost both DM3 levels.  This was the best of three on DM3.

Match 2 - DNA.Spara 76 (192 ping), DNA.Refugee 64 (297 ping), DNA.Iceman 53 (278 ping), DNA.Necro 44 (267 ping).   Bobo.HOPw 5 (230 ping), Hatriq.HOPw 3 (347 ping), Dforce 1 (380 ping), and Bad13[Jim].HOPw -3 (379 ping).  Clan DNA 237 to Clan HOPw's 6.

Ouch not a way to welcome Hatriq to his first Clan fight.  Well hope you all at least had some fun. Good Job Clan DNA.

The first match was Clan WcG's level DM3 WcG.Shithead 32 (234 ping), WcG.Hatred 26 (351 ping), WcG.Jive 13 (217 ping), and WcG.Brodie 7 (296 ping).   Smiley.HOPw 36 (165 ping), CrazeNDhead.HOPw 11 (281 ping), Zork.HOPw 7 (299 ping), and Killjoy.HOPw 6 (396 ping).  Clan WcG 70 to Clan HOPw's 60.  This match started with me having a Gl Lockup and having to reboot so Smiley filled in.  Then halfway through the maps there were cries to take Smiley out since he was a LPB with 125 to 175 ping.  Smiley was only ahead of their top scorer by 4 frags when the complaining started.  I told the ref we could pull him out now or restart the level but I checked the rules and didn't find any written rules stating Smiley couldn't be used.   They said it had to be agreed upon prior to the match, but my question was then why did they start the match? If it wasn't agreed upon? The match was rushed into a start with out time for me to talk with the opposing clan leader.  This lead to alot of bitching prior, during and after the match.

The second match was our level E4m3 and was supposed to be at our server. However Clan WcG complained about the server and started suggesting new servers to go too.  Finally we just said why look lets just get it over with here at this server and we played all the levels at their server of choice.   Wormburner.HOPw 44 (344 ping), CrazeNDhead.HOPw 22, Killjoy.HOPw 15, Zork.HOPw 14 and Muad'Dib.HOPw 6 (214 ping).  WcG.Hat3 21 (302 ping), WcG.Jive 12, WcG.Cash 5 (225 ping), and WcG.Rascal 1 (266 ping).  Clan HOPw won 101 to 39.  This level was a blast I never had so much fun on e4m3.  It made the whole night worthwhile for me.   But CrazeNDhead got disconnected and after that I died for the first time.  A minute or so later Muad'Dib jumped in and I eventually recovered.

Funny again we would have won this match if we played our normal most frags for two levels winning 161 to 117.  Bummer it's not played like that!

The tiebreaker match was played on DM3 level. WcG.Hat3 36, WcG.Jive 32, WcG.Brodie 17, WcG.Cash 10.  Zork.HOPw 5, Killjoy.HOPw 3, Wormburner.HOPw 2 and Muad'Dib.HOPw . DW.Carnage (334 ping) jumped in and got 3 frags with a few minutes left.  This match was not well admined.  It seems during match one when Muad'Dib joined and we had two observers their were cries to have him leave only one observer was allowed.  However during this match their were about 5 observers on the server and they weren't asked to leave.  It seems even the admin was making comments about the match on non team talk and that upset Muad who quit with 2 minutes left in the match.  After the match was over their were apologies said on both sides and Clan WcG played some a very good games.  It seems that finals must be getting to people and tempers are flaring. On Thursday night we have a Quake Match for the Bunk Clan Wars Weekly match.  It is vs. Clan White Coastal Goats (WcG).  It will be at 146.6.118.28 at 9 pm Central time and is the best two out of three.  Our level is e4m3 and there level is probably DM3 but may be e2m1.  The tiebreaker level is DM3.

We  have a Quakeworld match also Thursday night.  It is at 206.31.50.25 vs. Clan Zogar for the  Tool4 Tourney. It is best two out of three matches on DM3.  See you there at 7 pm Central time. This is the first match that counts.  Hope we can get a win or at least a competitive game.  But if all else fails lets learn to work dm3 as a team.

We did have a match after all! Sorry I missed it.   I challenged Clan SDC late Saturday Night to a Clan match for Sunday Night.  I didn't get their reply until an hour after I had gone to sleep at noon.  This match was supposed to happen prior to the start of the Tool4 season and it was only a preseason scrimmage.  Two matches were played both DM3 which is the only level allowed in this league.  Our lack of team experience showed up well in the end results.  I'd like to thank Muad'Dib a Quake division HOPw for showing up and having a frustrating time.   The first match was played at QW HOPw server and it was a 4 on 4 with Muad'Dib, Ledfoot, DForce and Bobo. This was the only match that counted and HOPw lost 99 to 31.

The second Match was only a 3 on 3 at their server.   Ledfoot and Muad'Dib left and Killjoy, Bobo and DForce started it.  But DForce was dropped from the game, it became a 2 on 3 and Clan sdc had a player drop to become a 2 on 2 and then Bobo got dropped so Clan sdc took one of their players out and eventually Killjoy was dropped and Clan SDC waited but no one returned.  This match wasn't counted on the Tool4 page.  It was only preseason matches.

DM3 was their choice and it was very competitive.  I was frustrated the first 5 minutes trying to get a  weapon.  But finally we gained control and made a big comeback from the lead they had on us.  Clan HOPw 64 - Wormburner.HOPw 19 (351 ping), Ledfoot.HOPw 19 (315 ping), DForce.HOPw 18 (400 ping) and Muad'Dib.HOPw 8 (290 ping) Clan ZI 33 - ZI.Lucifer 11 (339 ping), ZI.Sadist 9 (329 ping), ZI.Decide 8 (398 ping) and ZI.Buk 5 (459 ping).

E4M3 was our choice and we won 78 to 35.   Wormburner.HOPw 32 (303 ping), DForce.HOPw 23 (511 ping), Killjoy.HOPw 17 (345 ping) and Flesh.HOPw 6 (307 ping).  ZI.Sadist 16 (391 ping), ZI.Decide 10 (316 ping), ZI.Lucifer 9 (552 ping) and ZI.Buk 2 and he quit about 5 minutes into the match.

Level two was e4m3 our level and we had to win it in order to play the third level.  Clan HOPw won 78 to 41.  So on our normal Quake matches we would have won 111 to 96 bummer eh! Level two went like this.... CrazeNDhead.HOPw 32, Muad'Dib.HOPw 19, Wormburner.HOPw 17, and Killjoy.HOPw 10.   BCC.Tool 18, BCC.Phlananx 15, BCC.Taskmage 6 and BCC.Clutch 2.

The final tiebreaker match was set on DM3 Clan BCC won 49 to 39.  BCC.Phlananx 13 (291 ping), BCC.Taskmage 13 (354 ping), BCC.Flatliner 12 (127 Ping), and BCC.Tool 11 (133 ping).  Biggie.HOPw aka Big Jeff 18 (221 ping), CrazeNDhead.HOPw 15 (224 ping), Killjoy.HOPw 5 (301 ping) and Muad'Dib.HOPw 1 (150 ping).

Clan BCC was a great bunch of guys and played a very good match.  The matches went very well for getting setup at 11 a.m. this morning. 

CrazeNDhead 35 frags (193 ping), Wormburner 15 frags (304 ping) for total of 50 frags too there 3 frags.  Lucifer had 6 frags (250 ping) and Twik had -3 frags (255 ping that was lagged).

Clan ZI in QuakeWorld also would like to scrimmage any QW HOPw's available tonight.

We joined a QuakeWorld tourney. It is called Tool4.  We also might join another league.  It is every Thursdays for a match.  But currently we don't have enough QuakeWorld HOPw's that show up all at once on Thursdays.  So I'm not sure if we will.

I have changed my Vikings pages.   Also this main news page and my contents page is the only pages I keep on Pax's server.  So if it is down you can always go to http://barney.gonzaga.edu/~navrat I'm not saying it will always be up to date.  But I try to keep a back up page of news there.   Tonight I will load this there also.  All my files and pages are at that server except my main page.

I loaded some new sounds. I might go ahead and put them in the music box above.  If I don't get to that tonight I will probably start using them on some of my pages.

Both matches were played at 146.6.118.28.  Killjoy played a great game and came out on top in the first match! E4M3 our level was Clan HOPw 107 and Clan KOQ 21.  Killjoy.HOPw 30, Wormburner.HOPw 29, Knowfear.HOPw 27 and Zork.HOPw 21.  5ludge.KOQ 16, KOQ.Slaughters 7, 7thHeav.KOQ 0, and Suckmy.KOQ -3.   Pings were pretty much even with one KOQ around 150 and Knowfear at 210 as the lpb for each team.

Level two was their choice E1M3 and was won by HOPw 64 to 47 in a very competitive match.  Zork JR unplugged the phone on Zork so Zork was gone for about 5 minutes and had 15 frags total.  Wormburner.HOPw 19, Knowfear.HOPw 17, Zork.HOPw 15 and Killjoy.HOPw 13.  5ludge.KOQ 27, Suckmy.KOQ 9, 7thHeav.KOQ 8 and  Slaughters.KOQ 3.

This was a very well conducted clan.   Not one word on lag/ping problems.  They showed up and were well organized and patient not a bitch was said all night.  It's great when clans can get on a server and not complain about this and that.  Thanks KOQ for a worthwhile match. 

Clan CNW won over HOPw 250 to 47.   Good Job Clan CNW.

Well it didn't go to well vs. Clan CnW.   I figured we would probably lose vs this clan  But we didn't have a chance when they played two 100 to 150 pingers.

DM3 was won by Clan CNW 123 to 3 Johnnystar.cnw 47, Panchovilla.cnw 40, Matchbox.cnw 28 and Dabrick.cnw 8.   Wormburner.HOPw 3, Killjoy.HOPw 3, Bear.HOPw 2 and Clipper.HOPw -5.

E4M3 was won by Clan CNW 127 to 44.   I threw Knowfear into an unknown situation which made this score worse then it should have been but it was a good learning experience for him.  Panchovilla.cnw 41, Johnnystar.cnw 33, Thome.cnw 32, and Dabrick 21.  Killjoy.HOPw 17, Clipper.HOPw 13, Zork.HOPw 9 and Knowfear.HOPw 5.

Level 1 was played at HOPw server 146.6.118.28.  Clan HOPw won 70 to 52.  It was a very tough match.  Clan DM started very strong controlling the map for a good 5 or more minutes.  Finally Proteus and I made a comeback and regained control which probably helped out Clipper and Zork.  I kept looking at score and noticed we all were dying pretty regularly at beginning of match.  Good Job HOPw's and thanks for a great fight Clan DM!  Proteus.HOPw 30, Wormburner.HOPw 18, Clipper.HOPw 11, and Zork.HOPw 11.   DM.Wy4t.3rp 20, DM.Cybersnake 14, DM.Minos 9 and DM.DocHoliday 9.

Level 2 was played at Quake.CNW.COM:26666 on DM3.  Clan DM won 96 to 4 over Clan HOPw.  They just plain out played us.  It was like a slaughterhouse.  Good Job DM! DM.Wy4t.3rp 31, DM.Minos 26, DM.Cybersnake 25, and DM.DocHoliday 14. Proteus.HOPw 3, Wormburner.HOPw 2, Knowfear.HOPw 0 and Bear.HOPw -1.

The pings were pretty even at both servers.  Clan DM had two 198 pingers and a low 200 and high 200 pinger at their server.  While we had 2 low 200's a high 200 and a low 300 pinger.  A little bit of lag for me and more so for Bear who was really hurting but all in all not too bad.   At our server we had a  high 100 pinger, two high 200 pingers and a low 300 pinger and Clan DM had 3 high 200 pingers and a low 300 pinger.  I didn't hear one comment about lag from Clan DM but in the previous days Clan DM had some bad ping spikes and lag on our server so I expect that probably happened to them tonight too.  But this is normal for most matches someone is always having some sort of lag and I think both levels evened out for all of us. 

Sorry to Killjoy.HOPw who was supposed to play DM3 at their server but when he went there he was a steady 1200 ping.   Bummer.

Not much of a practice last night.  Sorry I missed it my meeting went an hour and half over schedule.  Tonight's QW practice doesn't look any better with more Quake Players showing then QW HOPw's.

Zork has set up a  match with Clan KOQ it will be Saturday April 11th at 8pm Central time.  Our level E4M3 at 146.6.118.28 and thier level E1M3 at  crdm.quake.erols.com.

Clan CnW has challenged us and the match is  set for Saturday April 11th at 11pm Central Time. Their level is either DM3  and ours is E4M3.  Both Levels will be played at 146.6.118.28.
