I'm back..... I understand the Clan QuakeWorld match is now scheduled for December 7th at 10 or 11pm. I'll try and email, ICQ and post exact time as soon as I get word. I will admin this match unless we don't have enough HOPw's to play.

Hopefully Jade.PMS is ok and just wasn't able to make lunch yesterday. DForce, Nightmare, MadAxe and I had lunch at Old Chicago. It was great. Thanks DForce for the Clan HOPw colored twisted T wire for my LAN connection. Towards the end of lunch DForce mentioned.... I hope Jade isn't at "Cafe Chicago" down the road..... hehe I forgot their was another restaurant fairly close with a similar name... I really hope that wasn't the case.. if so... sorry Jade.

Well Tomorrow DForce, Nightmare, MadAxe and I all go out to lunch with Jade.PMS in Wichita, KS if things work out.. I'll update tomorrow on how it went..

The first QuakeWorld Clan match is in the works. It looks like DForce.HOPw has set up a match with Clan RA to be played on Saturday November 29th at the HOPw QuakeWorld server. All you QW HOPw's that can play please contact DForce and let him know if you will be playing.... Any HOPw's that aren't QuakeWorld but want to play let him know also.. I'll send all the info that I have on Tuesday before I leave for Thanksgiving.

Welcome back to Necro the author of QFront!!! He has begun updating his page again. And Happy Birthday Qfront!! it's one year old.

I just checked the Qfront Sounds page and either something has gone horribly wrong, hehe or else people love it!!! Last I looked, a week or so ago it had 3000 and some hits.. now 3,818,221 WOW! I plan to update that page soon and post a new sound for Qfront that I made a few weeks ago.

Fotr/HOPw IP has changed to 129.116.25.235. It is possible that this won't be the last change. It is still running the Clanring mod on reg port. On 129.116.25.235 port 26001 there is a rocket arena mod running. You can get the patch at ftp://129.116.25.235

There was no problem with the GlQuake .97 patch. I had put some commands in my autoexec.bat from Zanshin's page and must of had one wrong or one that my Orchid Righteous Card didn't like. My GlQuake is up and running again. I'd have to say it is better then .94 and .95 version of GlQuake. However I still Like the look of .93 version. I know I can get that look back but it has to do with the commands that I need to put in the autoexec.bat. If you are running .96 version of GlQuake then go get .97, my understanding is that it is the same as .96 but fixes a bug that was in .96.

No whining just all butt kicking.......The first level e1m3 was played by X.Pigeon 20, X.Inferno 15, X.Adm.Ambush 13 and X.Da Rat 10 for a total of 59 to Killjoy.HOPw 14, Target.HOPw 6, DForce.HOPw 6 and Weezer.HOPw 5 for a total of 31

The second level was played by Killjoy.HOPw 19, Wormburner.HOPw 14, Hornet.HOPw 9 and Dforce.HOPw 7 for a total 49. Losing to X.Inferno 37, X.Stinkin'Steve.X 28, X.Violator 16, and X.Bloodshine 8 for a total of 89.

Clan Xtreme wins 148 to Clan HOPw's 80.... Ouch we haven't had a beating like that in a long time.. or so it seems, hehe.... Good Job Clan Xtreme at least I didn't hate it. I was just outplayed.. But damnit Stinkin'Steve I don't appreciate your pings.. and damn Inferno what is the deal? You cremated us.. at 300 ping.. that is what I do.... damn u stole my level.....hehe Well great job!! thanks for playing and having patience... I think overall we probably enjoyed the match over the last few matches since there was no whining. Man we have had bad luck lately and it had been a miserable time with whining about lag etc.. so thanks for being men......

Tonight at Midnight there is a clan fight vs Clan X. This fight will have both levels played at 129.116.25.175 our Fotr/HOPw server. Our level is E4M3 there level is E1M3. So far Suntzu, MadAxe, Killjoy, Dforce and Hornet and I are planning on showing up. Any other HOPw's?

Hello HOPw's there is a Clan fight tomorrow November 14th at Midnight Central time (Friday). This fight was scheduled at 11pm Today so it came together quick. The fight will be at 129.116.25.175 for both levels. Clan X has chosen Necropolis, our level of course is e4m3. Quake HOPw's have first dibs then it is on who knows areas best and first ones to show up. Please come if you can even if all 21 of us show up. At the moment only killjoy and I know about it and DForce will observe unless no one shows up. Hope to see you there.

You may notice what looks like two new HOPw's but there is only one. DForce has a Clan HOPw page with info on him up now. And you will notice MadAxe.HOPw but that is a new name for the player formally known as DanQ

Ledfoot has been appointed Captain of QuakeWorld Division of HOPw's and Killjoy is Captain of Quake Division. I guess that means I am the HOPw leader. Seems the everyone is a Leader hasn't worked out since I seem to set up most matches.

I'd like to welcome our newest member of Clan HOPw. DForce has joined HOPw with a 18 to 8 loss to me in QuakeWorld. He will be in our QuakeWorld division. Congratulations DForce. He played a good game on e4m3 tonight at 206.31.50.21 with around 205 ping tom my 270 ping.

I'm still paying long distance. I'm praying southwind and there teen network will fix the problem tomorrow.

If anyone knows if Maxtor 3.5 gig ultra DMA hard drive is a bad buy at $179 after the 30 rebate let me know. It is 9.87 ms access time. I'm hoping it will work with my 200 pent pro chip. I guess the new ultra dma transfer rate needs the newer chipset to take advantage of a 33mb transfer. Lets hope it works.

Man I can't believe it........ Clan CJ is Dead..... they have consolidated with Clan BT to become Clan CT what a waste. Clan CJ had some cool graphic animation and a cool name. They are going to be a clan sadly missed. The character was there. Now it is watered down. I guess the true stuff was too hot for them..... Too bad.... I really thought a lot of Clan CJ. I wish the members of Clan CJ well. There will NEVER be a break up of Clan HOPw.... as long as there are women on earth there will always be CLAN HOPw!!

Well I was going to start this out as WOOHOO my ISP is back up..... but...... it was up then down then up then down etc.. from noon tell about 8pm but now it is down and I expect for good until Monday again. So I'll be checking mail/ICQ long distance and possibly play after 10pm tonight and tomorrow for a bit..

Thanks to Maud Dib for building and supplying the hardware. Maud also thanks Killjoy for the generous $40 donation for parts. The server is at 129.116.25.175 and is the same clanring mod as Fotr ran. O and a bit of bad news, Flesh's hard drive crashed so he will probably slowly be adding you to his ICQ again when he has time. But he is going to commit more time to his family so won't be on as much. Good Luck getting the hard drive back up Flesh!

This is really bumming me out! My ISP is still down. I'm uploading this over long distance to their Wichita connection. :( :( Supposedly my local connection may be fixed tomorrow. They have ordered an Ethernet switch and will possibly fix it with that. Who knows. .... Having Quake withdrawals.... Well take care and enjoy your quaking..

Just in case you don't hear or see me on the net. AGAIN my ISP, well actually the school district that we are hooked into was down for ANOTHER 30 hours or so. So hopefully I'll be up on the net soon.

I sent a reply back to the Immortals letting them know we will accept there challenge from early October to play them in a QuakeWorld match. I also told AFZ that we would not play them. I was kicked from Technovillage server by a AFZ using the name 300 Bachus. I told him to be a man and not use a ping bot. While I was explaining to another player what a ping bot was, Bachus said "bye bye Wormburner." Well off I went. Wouldn't have been so bad. A child like that deserves to play with himself. But it kind of pissed me off since he crashed my system and I had to restart my computer. I did a status check on him and came up with 137.22.96.137. So never will I play Clan AFZ. I checked out there web page and wasn't impressed with the negative atmosphere they presented upon the opposing clans. Too bad last spring I did meet some decent AFZ players that were ok.

WOW, need I say more..... ok I will.. Blaster, Nightmare and DanQ should definitely remember the names Stinkin Steve and Pigeon.(X) well if they recall those names then they should recall a good ole server name called GATEKEEPER! WOOHOO it is back up at 164.58.68.9. Yup at 7:00 a.m. on November 1st I found the ole second choice server. And now have challenged Clan (X) to a match. So I am awaitin email. Ozzie.Sinister should be happy since he will be happy to hear Gatekeeper is back up. Well go play at that server it is choice!
