We started on DM2 Clan DnD's level at CJzone. Hornet (29 frags), Wormburner (27 frags), Alex (20 Frags) and Killjoy (10 frags) played vs DnD.Blade (10 frags), DnD.Rastra (5 frags), DnD.Hockeydude (-1 frags) and DnD.Warbird (-3 frags) for a total of Clan HOPw 86 to Clan DnD 11

Level two was at a Florida server suggested by Blade since Clan DnD were having lag problems at CJ zone. We went there and agreed to play. Zork was lagged into the thousands and had trouble running across the lava floor.. Seems it ate him up quite a bit, hehe Sorry for your troubles Zork.

Clan HOPw had Wormburner (27 frags), Blaster (15 frags), Target (4 frags) and Zork (-5 frags) and Clan DnD had DnD.Mouser (12 frags), DnD.Hockeydude (3 frags), DnD.Rastra (2 frags) and DnD.Blade (-1 frag) there was also one other Clan DnD player that left with -4 frags but was replaced by one of the above.

Clan HOPw won that level 41 to 16 for a total Victory by Clan HOPw 127 to 27 over Clan DnD. Good Game HOPw's and way to stick it out Clan DnD.

And on a somber note.... Krazie.NM has whooped Wormburner on e4m3 11 to 0!!! Wow I knew he had my number and could beat me any day but the kid is good! Patience, crackshot aim and top of the line strategy is the way this guy plays. A class act!!! Good Game Krazie!

Clan fight coming up QUICK. Keep up with Killjoy he is in charge. Possibly a 3 on 3 with Clan KFC tomorrow or Sunday. I guess it is first come first play. So when I know the time I will email everyone and ICQ everyone. If you want to play contact Killjoy and get the scoop and be there first.

Also Clan A1 is asking HOPw's to be in a tourney. If you want to be in it email me and I will tell them we playing. Remember we are already in one Tourney that Killjoy is in charge of, so hope you all have time to be there when match time is on.

Happy Birthday to Killjoy yesterday. He and I whooped Hornet and Rain on E4M3 last night Kill had 19 frags and they only had around 12 total. Woohoo Kill!!

We have been challenged by a clan. I forwarded the letter to Killjoy and he will set up the match. So get with him on date's your available.

The first level was played at warzone.isrv.com by CrazeNDhead 37 frags, Alex 16 frags, Blaster 12 frags and Target 18 frags for a total of 83 frags on E1M3. Clan IK had 40 frags - Cornholio 26 frags, Strick9 5 frags, Necromancer 5 frags and Zoidmus 4 frags.

Level 2 was playe at CJ zone on level E4M3. Clan HOPw won this too 108 to 18!! CrazeNDhead 36 frags, Alex 34 frags, Wormburner 29 frags, and Killjoy 9 frags. Clan Ik had Cornholio 14 frags, Necromancer 4 frags, Drthvader 3 frags and IVsaken -3 frags.

On CJ Zone pings were almost even. With one Clan Ik usually beating the corresponding HOPw by 10 to 20 pings. There was a little bigger ping advantage for Clan IK on there server beating the next closest HOPw by 40 to 100 pings.

Good Game HOPw's! Clan IK did a great job and played hard. No whining and not much complaining of any lag.

Well DanQ and I are off to Wichita for the DM Tourney starting at 2:00 pm Central time. Cya all late tonight!

We are back! DanQ made it to the semi finals so made it to the top 12. The Master's of Quake Tourney in Wichita played random quake levels of eight players advancing the top three of each heat. DanQ advanced all the way to the last heat before the final. He usually ended up in third each heat, but hey it was alot better then I did. My trip to Wichita was mostly as an observer hehe. I ended up in the first heat with the eventual winner of the Tourney, Fatality. Hell I don't even know if he fragged me once.. Thats cuz I was dead for the first eighteen of his frags. I finally got on the board and ended up with 6 frags to fatality's 25. Third place had 8 frags and of course I fell in the lava 3 times knocking myself out in round one, woohoo Wormburner. But all is not lost. We met the cool dudes at Fiest and learned they had a QuakeWorld and Quake Server. But bad news there.. Tonight they have decided to discontinue the Quake server due to a few bad apples that constantly ping flood their server and crash it. So there will only be a Quakeworld Server 198.247.1.4 port 27500. And guess what, Killjoy! They all have glquake so want to have the vis'd maps. I told them they needed to have it running on the server too, so they will have vis'd maps running soon!!!

Tonight Target, Zork, CrazeNDhead, and Alex will play E1M3 vs Clan IK at warzone.isrv.com at 10:30 pm Central. Then we will go to CJ zone and Wormburner, Killjoy, CrazeNDhead and Alex will take on Clan IK on E4M3. However Alex will sit if another HOPw wants to play. So if you show up there is a possibility of you getting in to play.

We then went to Cj Zone our server to play E4M3. CrazeNDhead had 41, Wormburner 39, Alex 25 and Hornet 15 for a total Clan HOPw 125 to Clan IK 16. Wow... but..... they had one player lagged real bad most of the time... and another player stepped in and was also lagged.. Any way we had fun.. they probably didn't.. Supposedly at 11:30 Eastern is an Official Match with Clan IK. I guess we will see if they will show up. Total for the scrimmage was 193 Clan HOPw to 36 Clan IK. Good Job HOPw's!

Late last night Clan IK wanted a scrimmage on their server. CrazeNDhead, Alex, Hornet and I started playing and were winning. I played like wormdirt, then I finally started getting some frags and the God of all Lag hit me. I stayed for 2 minutes mostly just sitting in a corner watching my fellow HOPw's protect me as they ran by fraggin Clan IK, but alas a Clan IK slipped by and I saw my body parts flying all over.... Next I found a more seculded corner and looked at the wall.. So I quit and tried to reconnect... Never could get back on..

Killjoy tells me that it is possible there may be a scrimmage with Clan IK tonight at 10 pm Central. He is trying to set up an official match for tomorrow night. So read this page and watch your icq or email, if you want to play.

So off I went and Killjoy, CrazNDhead and I took on Clan killarmy on DM3. Well they won 47 to 21 and it was off to our server to play E4M3 but only two of Clan Killarmy showed and then they both left. So the match doesn't count.

Ok that's it.. HOPwCon 2 is about to happen.. August 15th and 16th in Wichita, KS I'm sure Boogyman, CrazeNDhead, Alex, Hornet, Target, DanQ, Blaster and I should all be able to make it, right? Another God showed up and we emailed our players and a 3 on 3 real match was agreed on. Alex, Zork and I played e4m3. It was a very competitive match. Alex really started slow. I think the first ten minutes he was still at 0 frags, hehe. I was struggling to stay alive. It surprised me how much we won by. It sure seemed like I was running for my life the whole time. Match two really got screwed up. Sorry about that Clan God. I left for a second to start winquake and when I got back the match had started. Well no one had told Boogyman that it was only 3 on 3 and he needed to sit out. (Sorry Boogy). Well it hurt us more because it turns out Boogyman was disconnected but his ghost would appear every few seconds and Clan God would frag him even though he wasn't here. That caused alot of frags that Clan God was racking up and they were kicking Clan HOPw's butt.. Well somehow the exit didn't stay turned off and Target was hopping around trying to stay alive up by quad and he went thru the exit... Needless to say there were some pretty upset Gods...

I asked if it was agreed that we would restart the level and everyone agreed. So that ended up like a practice session just like the one Alex and I played before the first match.

Killjoy, Danq and Target played the Second Match which Clan God chose as the Start Map. It took Target awhile to get going but soon he was on his way to an ok game...DanQ had his problems too. I think he had about 5 frags up to the last 2 min. Then he went into warp speed and racked up another 5. But the story of the night was KILLJOY!!!! Wow the Hawaiian Killer just slaughtered the Gods. And he had the highest pings! Good Job Killjoy you gave us the overall win! Clan God did win the second match 51 to 48 on the Start Map vs. Clan HOPw. See the Picture here. The match was also one minute short. Somehow the timer didn't go off and there was some more confusion.

The Pings were pretty close so there wasn't an advantage for either team. I didn't hear any complaint about being lagged. I'm sure it happened to a few at times. But probably even also. It sounded like Clan God was upset and thought they won. And they did win the second match. Match 1 was 48 to 19 a 29 point lead for Clan HOPw. Match 2 was won by Clan God 51 to 48 a 3 point lead for Clan God. The total score was Clan HOPw 96 and Clan God 70 giving the overall win to Clan HOPw by 26 frags.. Congratulations Clan HOPw on our second win.. Good Game and excellent competition Clan God.

We finally figured out how to do the start map which will be Clan God's level at 11pm central time tonight. Danq, Boogyman, Target and Killjoy will play this level.. I wish all the HOPw's luck.. Also for any HOPw's tha tmissed the practice session please show up and watch.. There could always be a problem and someone may not make it or they could get disconnected.... Good Luck HOPw's....

Killjoy has word from the DM tournament he entered Clan HOPw in early last month. Expect things to get rolling with that soon. If you plan to play in this tournament get with Killjoy for dates and times.

We are not accepting any new members anymore. Although there is one more slot. But we will now develop harder rules to get into Clan HOPw. 20 will be the maximum HOPw's ever. If it turns out that we want new members, maybe we will develop an inactive or retired HOPw roster. We currently have 19 HOPw's. Of course Elrond, Mith, Kong, Col, Mailman and Chigger are always welcome since they all were some of the original players when we first began playing at FlameNFeign back in November 1996, December 1996 and January 1997. Some of them taught us the tricks of the old Flame, or let us use there Server, (thanks Mith). I'd have to say that last open spot could be filled but the person would have to beat me on E4M3 if there pings were as good or better then mine..
