Description:
Lead by an experienced and determined junior, Drew Schoentrup, the micro-mouse team is composed of 5 different Gonzaga engineers. Their disciplines are varied in the fields of computer science, computer engineering, and electrical engineering. The goal of the project is to further the understanding of the real-world applications that engineering has to offer. A mix between hardware, software, and firmware designs offers individuals the opportunity to gain knowledge that a class room can't provide.

2006 is the first offical year that the Gonzaga IEEE chapter has attempted to assemble a micro-mouse team. The team has high hopes of competing in local, regional, and national competitions. Immediate goals are somewhat low, considering this is our first year in this area; but any progress will set the bar for the years to come.
