Embedded Computer Systems LaboratoryThe Embedded Systems Laboratory is where computer engineering students develop their skills in integrating hardware and software to implement an embedded system. An embedded computer systems is a compact implementation of hardware and software functions with a micro-controller so as to meet the specifications for a specific application. A project is carried out in the lab so as to allow students to apply the concepts introduced in lecture. This laboratory is an integral part of the course CPEN 442 Embedded Computer Systems, which is a 3-credit core course in the computer engineering program. It is offered in the spring semester of the senior year. |
