Digital Logic LaboratoryCPEN 230L is the accompanying 1-credit laboratory for CPEN 230 Introduction to Digital Logic, which is a 3-credit core course in both electrical and computer engineering programs. It is offered in the fall and spring semesters of the sophomore year. This laboratory is where electrical and computer engineering students gain practical"hands-on" experience on the use of basic hardware components. Through experiments, students become familiar with gates, multiplexers, decoders, flip-flops, counters, registers and displays. Based on the knowledge acquired in the course and the experiments performed in this lab, students are able to design and implement a hardware solution to a digital design project. |
