Electric Circuits Laboratory

EENG 201L is the accompanying 1-credit lab for EENG 201 Circuit Analysis I, which is a 3-credit core course in the electrical and computer engineering programs. It is offered in the spring semester of the junior year.

The students learn the fundamental concepts of electric circuit measurements, understand the main features of power supply sources, analog and digital multimeters, and learn how to operate and use the signal generator and the oscilloscope. The experiments are organized such that the students are presented with a gradual transition from the ideal theoretical assumptions to the practical aspects of electric circuits.

A student who successfully fulfills the laboratory requirements will have demonstrated an ability to use the available instrumentation and apply the basic principles of electric circuits to analyze and test basic electric equipment.
