Crochet (and Knit)
Fall 2002
This page sha'n't be as organized as the Summer 2002 page- I just needed somewhere to write down my patterns!
Crochet Boa - one skein homespun yarn - K hook foundation: chain 2, work 5 sc in 2nd chain from hook. do not join rounds, but instead work in a spiral work 1 loop-stitch sc in each sc below in spiral (corkscrew) fashion (instructions for loop-stitch can be found at www.lionbrand.com) make approx 3-4" loops go around approximately 110 times finish: just pull the yarn through last stitch. hide yarn ends in center of boa. final dimensions: approx 60" long if using more than one skein, try the following: for a plusher boa: change foundation to 6-7 sc and/or make longer loop stitches for a longer boa: continue working in loop stitches in a spiral until desired length is reached
